zina badran - dina

Reading Drama & Theatre Arts at The University of Birmingham, Zina revelled in an intensely challenging environment and enjoyed working on a wide range of productions, her favourite role in particular being that of Martha in Dario Fo’s Elizabeth.

During this time she was also an active member of The National Youth Theatre and was involved in several projects including Low Dat at The Lyric Hammersmith, Savages at The Royal Court and Watch Over Me, an educational soap series filmed in association with the BBC.

After graduating, Zina spent time in Los Angeles, completing a drama course during her time there and has since continued her exploration of diverse work. A lead role in BBC3’s The Wrong Door saw her have fun in a CGI comedy sketch show and subsequently a more serious note was struck with her dual roles in Shadow Language at Theatre 503. Most recently Zina has completed an independent feature film as the lead in RU486 by Xylomancy Films.
