mj urbanek - show operator

MJ is currently training at Rose Bruford College on the BA (Hons) Lighting Design Course. He first became interested in Lighting and Theatre at a young age in his secondary school, when his drama teacher noticed his technical mind and pushed him towards a lighting desk and said 'Give me something I can use' and from that day, he has developed a passion for the arts, and helping in making the process of theatre happen.

He has worked on amateur shows, such as A Mid Summer Nights Dream, Oliver, West Side Story and Romeo and Juliet. He was also involved in What’s Wrong with Angry at the Kings Head Theatre in July 2009.

This is MJ’s first project at Arcola Theatre and he is looking forward to working with such a good team.
